I've spent my career in people and organizational strategy, watching companies invest heavily in AI while overlooking the thing that actually determines whether that investment pays off: whether the organization's own expertise is in a form AI can use.
Agentic Quotient (AQ) is my attempt to name that gap. It's not a finished framework — it's an idea I'm actively testing, writing about, and refining in public. The core claim: AI is a multiplier, not a source of value. What it multiplies is your organization's captured, operationalized knowledge. Two companies with the same AI tools will get wildly different results depending on their AQ.
I don't have this fully figured out, and I'd rather build it with pushback than announce it as settled. If you work in an organization wrestling with AI adoption and something here resonates — or doesn't — I want to hear about it.
